Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the ECU remapping, car remapping, engine tuning, DPF removal, EGR delete, AdBlue delete and gearbox tuning services provided by SuperTune Scotland (“we”, “us”). By enquiring about or booking a service, you agree to these terms.

1. Our services

SuperTune Scotland provides custom-written, dyno-tested ECU remapping and related software solutions for cars, vans, bikes and other vehicles. Every file we write is tailored to your vehicle and the original map is always saved. All work carries a lifetime guarantee on the file itself.

2. Emissions solutions — important notice

Emissions-related software solutions (DPF removal, EGR delete, AdBlue delete and AdBlue remapping) are supplied for off-road, motorsport and export use only. It is the vehicle owner's responsibility to ensure the vehicle remains road legal in its country of use. SuperTune Scotland accepts no liability for any failure to pass emissions tests, MOT or equivalent inspections following an emissions-related software solution.

3. Quotes and pricing

Quotes provided through this website or by phone are estimates based on the vehicle and requirements you describe. A fixed price is confirmed once we have read your vehicle's ECU. Prices are in pounds sterling (£) and are subject to change.

4. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, bank transfer and card payment. A deposit may be required for certain bookings.

5. Cancellation and refunds

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. Deposits may be non-refundable for late cancellations. Because remapping files are custom-written to your vehicle, completed work is non-refundable; however, the lifetime guarantee covers the file itself for as long as you own the vehicle.

6. Vehicle condition and warranty

You warrant that the vehicle is in a roadworthy and mechanically sound condition before tuning. Remapping is performed on the understanding that any pre-existing faults are disclosed. Our lifetime guarantee covers the tuning file we write; it does not cover unrelated mechanical or electrical failures.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SuperTune Scotland's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

8. Website use

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to submit false, misleading or abusive information through our contact forms. We reserve the right to ignore or delete enquiries that are spam or abusive.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
